A bold redevelopment scheme to create a contemporary block of holiday apartments for a well-established Holiday Park site in Suffolk, near Dunwich.
The scheme was developed on a cliff-top site on the footprint of an existing large Victorian house. The Holiday Park already has bar and restaurant facilities and this scheme diversifies the operation by adding holiday apartments to the Park’s offering.
The scheme features natural cedar cladding with a curved roof and is designed as a number of connected blocks to minimise its impact on the landscape. Balconies afford sea views to the apartments whilst the building itself is largely concealed by the surrounding lightly wooded landscape.
